Busiest December EVER.

Okay really, I love December...

...but this may be THE busiest end of the year I've had in my life. I finally know the pain of Mike Luckas and the other SVA Cartooning majors with their ridiculous amounts of homework. SO much stuff to do...and schoolwork is only half of it! I've gotta ton due by the 16th and even more to finish before the month is up.

In the midst of the chaos, I managed to do a quick little cartoon for the holidays, thanks to creator Scott Frerichs of DBZ Abridged fame, for coming up with a funny little piece of fake commercial copy that I thought was BEGGING to be brought to life. Scott recorded it for me and I finished it in a couple days, came out pretty nicely and he and our friends all seemed to enjoy it! That and I had completely forgotten about the NG Winter contest, so that was a nice bonus too. Also I hope those who watched and were offended by any of the content will know that Scott and I don't mean any of it offensively and that Jesus Sweets was done all in good fun.

I've also gotta lotta stuff to prepare for MAGFest at the beginning of next year. Most likely I'll be doing my own panel where I'll have some stuff to showcase and a few things to announce, but I'll also be part of a few other panels that are focused on certain other guests...some surprises are in store, oh yes. :] Seriously, if you can make it to this con, do it. It's gonna be worth it.

Now I'm gonna go collapse, do some last second X-mas shopping and work my ass off on BACKGROUNDS OF ALL KINDS. HOORAY. Also thanks very much to all of the kinds folks who've supported and purchased the Parody Rangers t-shirts as well as the nice comments. I appreciate it :]

Probably near the end of my school year I'll be making a showreel with a bunch of my animation assignments all smushed together. That'll be around April-May 2010 once I have enough footage to make a couple minutes out of.

my problem is time efficiency. i can never let anything i take interest in suck completely so i waste time overachieving on projects for classes i already have A's in. it's just more embarrassing when you have to show your incomplete art project to people rather than using incomplete studied knowledge on a written exam

Maybe it's a good thing Adidaas from youtube hasn't responded yet. I'd feel absolutely guilty (and thoroughly annoyed) if he agreed to my "TTA Rebirth," plan and we had asked for your approval prior to this posting. NO, I AM NOT ASKING FOR SEASON 4 UPLOADS THAT AREN'T THERE. Just like I wouldn't ask Chuck Norris for mercy :). Rather, what happened was, somewhere, I read that you had posted up Season 4 art along with all of the story behind Season 4 on your DevArt page. Using the link on your NG main page, I found them (Over 5 pages worth... 0_0). I didn't read all of them. I don't have THAT much patience. But somewhere, I read that the original plan was to make a game out of the story, which, unfortunately, fell through. Prior to that, I found some TTA material that made it to youtube (all stating they had your permission). "TTA material," included this:

My plan and hope was to discreetly (guess not) give you this idea upon Adidaas' approval. Problems are: a) You're more busy than I've ever been IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. 51 drawings... oooooohhh, I just get sick thinking about it :( b) The lazy bastard hasn't responded in over 15 DAYS >:( And c) You swore the series was done anyways. So in my eyes, this was a vain attempt from the start. But at the least, it's very minimal work on your department anyway ;) So with your permission (and a response from Adidaas! >:( Grrrr...) I was hoping to give your old TTA fans (including myself :) a nice, sort-of annivesary gift in commemoration to your outstanding series. NO AMOUNT OF MODESTY CAN MASK THE FACT THAT TTA DESERVES A COLLECTIONS/SERIES FOLDER OF IT'S VERY OWN. IT'S THAT DAMN GOOD!!!! But, to clarify, I never intended to do this anyway if you said no. Never ever ever, not even in >*GUESS WHAT MEME THIS IS* years!!!!

Wow, I'm such a sidetracker... lol. Anyway, I just wanted to give you the idea, but don't think about it yet. AND I MEAN IT. After this, I'm going to comment that video and message him again with the idea. Sorry for the time it took to say what I wanted to say. But it's off my chest now. *whew* So just think about it. If you're alright with this though (Im ready to alert my private choir of angels for such an occaision :), help out by commenting on that video and message him too please. I believe I can speak for all the TTA fans and me that something like this is what we have been waiting for for YEARS now. No pressure intended ;)

As much as I appreciate that people still love the story and characters I created for that series, I'd prefer that the lingering TTA fanbase didn't continue "carrying on the legacy" by this point.

i have to have 12 interactive backgrounds (much like an adventure game) and then backgrounds for my final movie which changes shot every 5 seconds. im having fun but the limited time is making things intense

My limited time frame falls to me for blame though, since I had a whole semester to do a lot of these drawings, but working on so many other things at once made the drive not really...exist, for doing a bunch of background paintings. So I'm paying for my laziness in spades, but I'll manage somehow.
