This. This is why I respect you as an artist/animator over some of the more famous Newgrounders (who I'm not at all fond off). I actually feel I'm getting to like you not only for your work, but also because how I see that you're a human just like us. You have a great future ahead of you, I'm sure of it, and I'm glad I've gotten to see you grow as a person. So keep up the good work! ^_^

Well... fuck.

I really hope this doesn't turn into a Madness Combat sort of deal. Like how almost every Madness Combat flash maker had some tragic accident and just gave up entirely.

I know, there's plenty of artistic people who are going to pat you on the back for having your goals in life and so as not to make you feel shunned. But I'm really not one of them. I liked this series, I liked it even before TOME Episode 1 appeared - and boy was I shocked when it did. I really liked it, and I have yet to comprehend the grueling needs of an artist, you silly creative liberal philosophical people. Your crazy breed has just thrown me for a loop - the death of sprite series, the rude ending of Sonic vs Super Sonic, the disappearance of Xionic Madness, the cancellation of Super Mario Bros Z, the vanishing of Joe Zombie and Xombie... DBZ Sticks, Fallen Angel, The Master's Game, Sonic Syythe World... and now this.

It's like everything I like on the web, particularly Newgrounds, just never gets finished. I'm a bit past the sympathy stage.

So I really do hope you continue this someday. I almost didn't even see this post, but for some reason I clicked back and decided to scroll down to this depressing news. But TTA was revived out of nowhere, so I'd give this a better chance than most other series I liked on this website.

Real-life beckons.

Yeah, come to think of it, it was a review on Nylocke's Day Off that got me here. It was submitted by Mellvin, so I went to go and chastise this guy like any respectable fan would and I noticed he had an account that reeked of an ALT. I actually changed the context of my message and asked him out of general curiosity what a 16-year old claiming to have no talent as a cartoonist was doing making a very professional review to a flash series like he did.

I didn't realize you had such passion as an artist or that you were taking those bad reviews so seriously. I guess I ignorantly figured you had a team of friends with you and you were all bouncing criticism and ideas off of one another, but until I read Melvin's review, I hadn't thought back to some of the more harsh criticism of this series. I can't really argue, I'm not an artist.

But you already know there was a fanbase. I don't know if there was money coming in because of this series or nominations somewhere down the road, but either way this is all a lot to take in.

Again, sa la vie.

just gonna say im a huge fan of TOME, and i would hate to see it be discontinued. Im pretty sure that there are plenty of people besides me that would be willing to give a donation. Just keep the show going to the best of your ability and i'm sure things will work out for the best

It has a 4.40 but it's not as popular as you expected it to be? Hot damn! Were you expecting Newgrounds to change its logo for you or something? TOME will most likely never rival spider-man in popularity. I think you should start making your peace with that now.
