As one of your fans back from TTA and as a writer myself, all I can say is that some fans will still be fans no matter what you do. There isn't anything else I can really think of that would make you feel better or should. This is all about you, Kirb, this is your series and you've got the entire right to do anything you want with it. I know how it is when you've got a series that you used to enjoy and love before it was all sucked out by either experiences or fans.

If there WAS anything I could do other then offer some moral support (And since I'm just some random face on the internet to you, I doubt this would be all that helpful) I do it. Other then that, there's nothing I can do, and I really wish I could.

Good luck, Kirb, no matter what happens, and always try to have fun.

Pokeprof/Silverline

When it comes right down to it, I say do what you want to do.

Pretend to you didn't have a ridiculously huge fanbase for a second and think what would you be doing then?

I'm probably miss reading but did you say you were getting paid for the Parody Rangers Movie? Or was that for some other project?

Anyway, try not to pay attention to disrespecting fans. I mean, you put in worlds of effort in your stuff and I think it pays off (I've lost alot of time from how much time I've spent rewatching Rangers2) I say keep going, if you're enjoying making it of course. May have to try and get back into it somehow :P

Also, is all this negative feedback coming from the movie far?
What the hell, it's the first two sections of the first PART of a fucking feature length movie of course arn't going to be as eventful as the original trilogy was. I mean, pretty much all movies are like that!

It seems like all these people are judging the movie before they've seen it, that's just wacked man. You can't let crap like that put you off.

One thing though I noticed that the outlines in the movie were being drawn with very low smoothing. The amount of points on those shapes just RAPES filesize. Perhaps in later chapters if you were to ease it a little you could pack a lot more content into the 10mb.

So good luck with what's ahead dude, and well done on everything thus far =]

lol u gotta hate people who jump to conclusions, set aside all that and freaking look at his problems not yours, anyway i have no idea why people are giving u negative feedback on the movie cause i love it and it looks great....

is that it? i watched the third instalment, was that the end or is there more?

You know... You could post your movies on DeviantArt instead. That place is a whole lot bigger like Newgrounds but less assholes and fucking retarded pussy troll and spammers and people who critisize for no fucking reason at all. Believe me you'll get more publicity there than here.

Been there done that. They don't allow flash animations with licensed music, for good reason, but this means the vast majority of my stuff isn't gonna fly on there. Mid-way into Season 2 of TTA I couldn't submit my stuff there anymore.

hey dude just in case you didn't know on parts 2 and 3 of the parody rangers it says part 1 in the loading screen and it kinda bugs me......

HI man fist of all I understand how you feel in this moment, when u dont know what u really like right now.
I'll give you a tip: do the best you think is best for you. All of this ppl is here because they want to help us to choose the better way.
U have a great talent man and if your problem is the money do others little job to make money and when u have it, u will make other great animation. Don´t give up man!
PS: my English is not good ¬¬
PS2: i know that this is not part of the post but im gonna be crazy if i dont find it xD : What is the ending theme song of TTA season 2?? i will appreciate it if u can tell me :D

Good Luck!

Went and watched Sailor Moon Abridged, the man speaks the truth.

But more relevant to your dilemma, when all these conflicting opinions collide you're just gonna have to block them out. People will always have their opinions, be they intolerant and selfish or uncompromising and hostile. Most of us here do respect your work more than that; it's just the guys who don't are REALLY REALLY LOUD. You can do it, just tough it out. You're not on any schedule (that I know of), so if you're tired of it then hell, take a week off or something. Just don't over-fatigue yourself on this, you'll regret it if you do.

Dude your movies are awesome I really like brawl taunts and then you released parody rangers and it just blew my mind. you made the crappiest show ever into an awesome flash movie that everybody should like. so keep up the good work and im expecting bigger and better things form you ;)

I may be nobody, but I'm just gonna throw my E-pinion out there for you to ponder on.

First off, you seem intelligent enough to come up with a stable and beneficial solution to this. You talk about how you basically have conflicting needs and wants. Have you considered a way to turn what you need into what you want? You may not always be able to change what you need, but sometimes you can affect it enough to make it what you want.

"Submission of the content itself aside...the fun is gone. Ask me a year ago when I was excited about just simply how FUN it was gonna be to work on this massive thing...let alone the sponsorship; hell, that wasn't even part of the picture by that point. I didn't think money was gonna be a gigantic issue for me at the time, I just wanted to make this ridiculous feature-length movie, getting every stereotypical internet-scum joke outta my system in this final NG-audience cartoon, work on my animation skill and just have a good laugh with my friends about it."

I personally am sad to hear that you are upset with continuing this concept. Dreams do change from time to time and may come at an inconvenient time as they did for you. Just because it's no longer your current dream, doesn't mean that it doesn't deserve your attention. Although, you may feel satisfied being as successful as you have in the past, and probably want to end it on the best note possible.

"When it gets right down to it, I flat out DON'T want to do this thing anymore. I wanna move on to bigger and better things already."

I'm sure you do. Everyone wants to grow. Sometimes a sacrifice, in whatever form, is needed for this to happen. Whether the sacrifice you make is putting your other project on hold, or cutting the movie short for your personal satisfaction at a financial loss. This circles back to necessity and desire as I had mentioned before.

I'm sure whatever you decide will be the best for you and for you. Trying to make everyone happy on the interwebs is improbable. I wish you luck with your decision and hope it works out.

I may still be nobody, but nobody's got shit to say.

Much appreciated, either case.

Fuck you, you n****r.

Wow, that's quite an act. Whad'you call that?

Am I wrong to have enjoyed how over-the-top Meat behaved by the end of part 3? It was the middle of the night and everyone was asleep and I had to painfully hold back much merriment and joviality. So, I don't know, maybe this isn't a failure to everyone, just to the many trolls.

I've actually expierienced shit like this from time to time. You start out thinking "This is going to be SPUCKING FECTACULAR, and I am going to have a BLAST!" But, then, sadly, shit happens. Your schedule cramps; you can't devote much time to the project. Your interest wanes; you just can't get motivated. You wind up with writer's block; the funny just won't come. What I'm seeing here is a mixture of all three.

So I suggest the following, in the patented
293864G GUIDE TO RENOVATING YOUR TALENT

Step 1: Take a fucking break. You put out what you had while inspiration was with you; why not pause while you recharge your mind? Maybe focus your attention on other matters. Be it finding employment, getting a higher education, or even talking to a member of the opposite sex. In other words, take a goddamn vacation.

Step 2: Look back on what you've done. Hey, you were under pressure! Everybody is at some point or another! Stress causes a significant drop in quality, which can double back and send you further into a rut. So go back and peek in on your work. That section was kinda stupid; let's delete that. I think that bit was good; let's expand on it. Perhaps I overthought that thing; it could use a re-write. See where you went wrong, and remember that.

Step 3: Carry onwards. Inspiration can broadside you at any time. You work 9-to-5 at the superstore. You listen to professors drone on in Advanced Chemistry. Your significant other says or does something. Suddenly, it clicks. A burst of genius strikes, and your realize that you've Found It. Your Big Idea that could be your golden ticket to the big time. Faster then you can spout "Eureka!", you've got a brand-new idea. So work with it. Nurture it and let it grow. Don't let it starve; develop it into a new series of ideas. Screw your previous idea; let that sit on the back burner for a while and let it age a little. You've got a white-hot plan on your hands, and it's what's important now!

Step 4: Stay on target. Let your current plan develop for a while. See what comes up. If you happen to really like it, great. Do what you want, and let it guide you further. If you don't particularly like this new idea, then ditch it. You shouldn't work on it if you feel pressured of uncomfortable with it. Slide into the groove of working on your new idea.

Step 5: Reflect on the past. You're really groovin' now! This is a great thing that's going on here; I could get used to this! But wait! Remember that thing, back then? Yeah, that. God, remember back when it was all so fun and cool? Before we all got so stressed out because we couldn't think of anything? Yeah, I recall those times. What say we look 'em over again, just for old time's sake? And you do; only to find that it was pretty good back then. You were carefree and happy with your work back then. So while you're reviewing old stuff, you see things. Gee, that joke was good ALL the time. That skit was just great; I had fun writing it. I wonder if I could still pull that crap off...

Step 6: Get back, Jojo. Maybe something clicks again. You get a burst of inspiration related to that old project. You see that you could totally make it better then what it used to be. So you decide to resume work. Your creative juices are flowing (in some way or another), and it flows easily now. Huh, this is easier then I remember it. Yeah, let's DO THIS!!!

Step 7: FUCK YEAH!!!!!! Hot damn, this is fun! That earlier shit was lame, this stuff ROCKS! Why did I ever leave this behind? Oh, right. Because of the stress and all that. Well fuck that! I'll quit when I wanna quit! This feels as natural as sleepin' and fucking! And did someone mention benefits of some sort? Why not? Yeah, this is the life. And maybe you'll feel that old worries creeping back in. If they do, just relax, lather, rinse, and repeat this cycle. If not, well, hot damn! You've beaten your own problems at your own game!

Seriously, relax and follow the guide. Poor conditions lead to poor work quality, which leads to feeling like shit. Go your own way.

I noticed you said that you thought that TTA wasn't going anywhere.

Quoting Kirb: "That's what it used to be. I gave Parody Rangers a shot because it was blatantly obvious that TTA wasn't succeeding, and I managed to get where I am now because of it."

Honestly, and with no offense to you, I happened to think that TTA was going somewhere, and you left us hanging with GC seemingly destroying TOME (I'm sure that's what happened)

If you don't care about this at all, delete the comment. I don't care. I just want to voice my opinion.

I did 70something episodes of TTA, none of them were front pagers. I made ONE Parody Rangers episode; it got front page AND a monthly award, both of which were things I had never achieved with NG. Can you blame me?

Also no, he purified Motherboard and cleared TOME's system by reabsorbing the piece of the D-Bug that infected her.

Hrm...well, I guess it's up to you whether you want to continue it or not. I'd like it if you continued, as it's pretty damn funny so far. Also, I wanted to congradulate you on getting more front page space than more flash artists here will ever achieve, or sometimes hope to achieve. I mean man, this is the FIRST time I've seen something like this. Then again....I never really payed attention to who's making what flash up until about three weeks ago...even at that time, I didn't pay much attention...still, the point remains.... -.- ....I have no point.....damn.... -.-

what? u got a bear with you? lucky...
