you make valid points here, and I wish I could've been sponsored when I was going to school as well, but NG wasnt around. so some of us had to actually get a fuckin job. you should try it too! believe it doesn't hurt as much as others lead to believe.
Surprisingly enough, I DOhave a job that pertains to flash for a computer game company. It generally only comes up during the Summer, however, since during school my schedule doesn't allow for a job and I'm away from home nonetheless. Doing these movies is the closest thing I have to that for the time being, but I get what you mean, nonetheless.
Know that not all peopl would be pissed if you submitted movies so often. You may not be the best animator but your funny as hell!

Ok, TTA comic is going to be awesome, as long as it lives up to what you have created. The rangers movie is also going to be funny as hell, seeing how you not only butchered the show in the most, painfully funny way piossible, and made it so enjoyable it's hard to hatge you for it, and NiN10Doh, well it's NiN10Doh
what the hell kind of people say you cant animate? you one of the best Ive seen, youe certaily better than most poeople (including myself =( I will be good someday.....someday) anyone who says that is a total dumbass, anyway you hae my support :D
Plenty of people do, but again, they're reasons I don't neccasary blame anyone for. So for the most part I'm hoping the movie will show those same people that that isn't the case.
I understand that college is a bitch to pay for, believe me I do :(
but I wouldn't rely on sponsorship money to get by,
like Mindchamber said, getting a job is unavoidable. :P
Oh no, trust me, it's not completely dependant on the sponsorship. If that were the case, I wouldn't've been able to start my second year in the first place. More specifically it's going into the funding overall, for the tuition of my second year and much of it for me being able to simply go food shopping etc.

I brought it up to him and he was interested, so yeah. His are actually pretty funny too, did a bunch'a short segments about Tetris, Pikmin, Donkey Kong Country 2 and Fire Emblem.

TTA or "Tv Tome Adventures" was kirbophers first series based on a website that he used to be a part of. the main characters were him (obviously) and a few friends that he knew on the iste, and the traditional bad guy, were the twats and asshats of the site (spammers etc)
just visit his webpage or deviant art, and theres an entire webspace about the series, from character bios, to the entire movie archive (which i strongly recommend you watch).
You know everytime you post about animation progress it just somewhat seems like you hate everything you do. I dunno just could be me.
Well if you hurt for money you can always do the "ads in your flash" thing.
That's why I'm just taking it as an excercise in improving my skills. The second it becomes a chore and I "hate" it is the second I stop.
Kirb, I think that you might want to refrain from using internet memes this time (that's one of the reasons why I didn't like GGPR3 and Nin10Doh!, and you'll end up invoking the wrath of certain users who hate seeing Cell's face as a sight gag or what have you). Plus, ditch Rina-Chan and Tomamoto and team up with me instead (they suck as voice actors and they suck at telling jokes).
Oh trust me, I'm aware. Parody Rangers the Movie and $00pah NiN10Doh! will be my last projects to make use of stereotypical 14 year old "humor" with internet meme jokes. My project I plan on starting afterward will not be based on prexisting material.
Also I don't plan on dropping Kira OR Josh, they're too talented to waste and are both good friends of mine that I'd never want to lose for anything. As far as you go, show me a demo reel and we'll talk.
Are you still working on pitching that kids show idea of yours to a network?
Hopefully my next big project that will follow the completion of the Rangers Movie will be the pilot episode for that, so I'm working on it in bits in pieces, but only conceptually for the time being.
a sequel to nin10doh? better be a lot funnier than the first. and try not to screw up this time around
